KEIGHLEY Cougars have signed hooker Joe Lumb from neighbours Bradford Bulls.
The 21-year-old has been released from the final two seasons of his current Bulls deal following the Odsal side's relegation to Kingstone Press League One.
Lumb started playing rugby for West Bowling before joining Cougars Reserves, making numerous appearances before signing for the Bradford Bulls Academy.
After some impressive performances, he earned himself a first-team debut for Bulls at Swinton Lions under then head coach Jimmy Lowes.
After staying loyal to the Bulls through liquidation last winter, Lumb was sidelined for a spell with a broken thumb. He featured on only three occasions in 2017, his last appearance for Bradford coming in March’s Challenge Cup home defeat to Featherstone Rovers.
