City have sold Joe Colbeck to Oldham for an undisclosed fee.
Stuart McCall concluded the deal with the League One club as part of the nationwide transfer deadline day activity.
The move will see Colbeck reunited with Latics boss Dave Penney, who was in charge at Darlington when the winger spent a successful loan spell there two seasons ago.
Colbeck, 22, turned down the offer of new Bantams contract in the summer and has been playing this season on a week-to-week deal.
The Bradford-born wide man joined City as an apprentice in July 2003 before signing professional forms two years later.
