STUART McCall this afternoon dismissed any suggestion that City may try to bring back James Hanson.
Scunthorpe have declared an interest in the Sheffield United striker, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring problem.
But McCall denied that City would consider a move for the target man they sold in January.
McCall said: "I think we had nine strikers in training today, including the younger ones, so no.
"It has never got brought up about Hans and I don't think Sheffield United are desperate (to let him go out). I thought he was part of their plans."
Meanwhile Charlie Wyke stepped up his recovery by joining in on the grass for the first time this morning.
