STEVE Clarke has reminded his Reading players about what City did to Chelsea as he bids to play down expectation ahead of tomorrow night.
The Royals are favourites with the bookies for the FA Cup quarter-final replay at the Madejski Stadium.
But Clarke stressed: “That kind of thing doesn’t matter in the FA Cup.
“You only have to see the results in this year’s competition.
“I repeat, Bradford’s win at Stamford Bridge was amazing. To go there and score four past the champions elect was an unbelievable result.
“So we know what they’re capable of away from home.”
Reading made nine changes for yesterday's 4-1 defeat at Watford and Clarke this morning claimed that fivewere injured.
He added: "We had five missing at Watford, maybe two of them could have played injured - if pushed. But I'm not going to say who they are!"
Meanwhile, City set off south this morning. They are training at St George's Park in Burton on the way down.
