Thornbury Youth Community Centre retained the Telegraph & Argus League Cup after beating TVR United on penalties in the final.
The match finished 2-2 after extra time before Thornbury, who were runners-up to TVR in the league, held their nerve to win the tense shoot-out 4-2.
TVR had taken the lead through a Nasser Hussain header after a cagey opening 25 minutes.
But the advantage was soon wiped out as good work by Majid Ali set up Toseef Arshad to equalise from close range.
The second half was initially a dull affair, with both teams teams tiring on the large Thackley pitch, but the game burst into life again when Ali hammered Thornbury ahead.
The league champions then laid seige to their opponents’ goal and they were rewarded when a long cross from the left was unfortunately dropped over the line by keeper Tariq.
Man of the match Ashiq Iqbal kept TVR in the match with some solid defending during a goalless period of extra time but his side then came unstuck in the shoot-out.
