Matlock 2 Guiseley 2
Guiseley twice came from behind to claim a deserved point from a tricky away fixture at Matlock Town and stretch their unbeaten start to the season to 12 games in all competitions.
The home side set the pace by breaking the deadlock in the eighth minute through Dean Cropper.
Guiseley responded by creating a couple of chances and equalised in the 12th minute when Danny Ellis headed home a Chris Ovington corner.
Ovington – on loan from Leeds United – and former Bantam David Brown both forced the home keeper into good saves before half-time.
Matlock stunned the Lions with an early second-half goal and once again it was Cropper who provided it.
They only led for ten minutes before the visitors restored parity, Sean Taylforth - who joined on a month's loan from Bradford City this week - drilling home a right-foot shot after Steve Burton had broke through from midfield.
