Nialle Rodney celebrates after scoring the decisive penalty against Huddersfield in the JP Trophy
Young City striker Nialle Rodney has today joined Darlington on a one-month loan.
Phil Parkinson is keen for the former Nottingham Forest youngster to get some match practice after a spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
Rodney returned in the JP Trophy win at Huddersfield and fired home the decisive penalty but has found opportunities limited since arriving at Valley Parade in the summer.
City have given him permission to play for Darlington in the FA Cup.
