Leeds United have had interest in the four players they want to offload.
Alan Sheehan, Tresor Kandol, Lubo Michalik and Andy Robinson were told last month that they should actively seek other clubs, despite being under contract.
Kandol has agreed a move to Scunthorpe and is expected to complete the move on July 1.
However, with many managers on holiday, Sheehan, Michalik and Robinson have had to bide their time. Leeds boss Simon Grayson said: “We have had one or two enquiries. Sometimes it is a bit difficult for clubs to take players in the middle of June because they would be paying them for nothing.
“It might be a case of seeing how things develop over the next few weeks. We have had a bit of interest in them so we will wait and see what the right options are for the players and for us.”
Republic of Ireland defender Sheehan had spells on loan to Oldham and Swindon last season, and winger Robinson was on loan at Tranmere from late March until the end of the campaign.
Slovakian international defender Michalik and Congolese international Kandol spent most of last season well down the first-team pecking order at Elland Road.
