MIKEY Wood sees the Bulls as a "massive stepping stone" in his career after signing on a season-long loan from Huddersfield Giants.
The 6ft 2in second row further bolsters the forwards after prop James Davies had his contract extended.
Wood, who had previous loan spells in the Championship at Halifax and Oldham, said: "My agent gave me a call and said that Bradford were interested and I was more than happy to take up the deal. They are a huge club and I can't wait to be a part of them.
"It's great to hear that I've got all of this interest already at just 21. I just want to do my best and give everything that I can back to the Bulls.
"When a club puts faith in you like that, you have to give everything you can in return.
"I feel like it would be a massive stepping stone in my career. Bradford have got a huge name and I feel like they have got a lot to offer."
The England academy star has also had a taste of Super League and made his Giants debut against Castleford in 2016.
Now Wood believes he can push on by gaining plenty of game-time in the Bulls' bid to smash through League One.
He said: "I want to learn and get some more experience. I want to be playing every week and cement a first-team jersey and play well. I like to work hard for the team and give my all.
"Bradford is a young squad, there is no doubt about that, but some of those players have been through a lot already. Not only will I learn off the likes of Matty Garside but Liam Kirk as well.
"I've played around in the Championship so I can offer a little bit more to the team than just what I can do on the field.
"I feel I've got a reasonable amount of experience that could help us go unbeaten.
"They have some massive players in the squad for the upcoming season. They have enough to win pretty much every game."
