LIVERSEDGE will make another bid to haul themselves out of the relegation places in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division tonight when they host fellow strugglers Armthorpe Welfare.
Three points could lift Sedge level on points with tonight’s visitors, and Jon Rimmington’s men would still have three games remaining to cement their status.
However, they will face a difficult task at Armthorpe as they beat mid-table Thackley 2-0 at the weekend, so are far from coasting.
Thackley will be looking to bounce back from that loss when they journey to Rainworth Miners' Welfare, knowing a win would see them leapfrog the club immediately above them.
Silsden are in the drop zone in the North West Counties League's top tier and face a much tougher test than Sedge.
The Cobbydalers’ visitors are fourth-placed 1874 Northwich.
