MITCH Clark is aiming to follow in the footsteps of his father after joining the Bulls on a two-year deal.
New Zealander Trevor Clark played for Bradford Northern in the early 1990s and Mitch, a versatile front-rower, was born in England during this period.
The 22-year-old grew up in New Zealand and signed for NRL outfit Penrith Panthers before making a move to Doncaster ahead of the 2015 campaign.
The former Junior Kiwi made 23 appearances for the Dons in 2015, scoring three tries – including one against the Bulls at the Keepmoat Stadium in April.
Clark will begin training with Jimmy Lowes' squad today and said: "It feels surreal. Bradford is a massive club with a great history.
"The opportunity to join the Bulls and follow in my dad's footsteps made signing an easy decision.
"I have seen pictures from when my dad was playing for Bradford and I cannot wait to get stuck in to pre-season training and to meet all the lads.
"My goal is to earn a spot in the 17 each week and play consistent footy, then to go from there.
"I will bring aggression, will be a handful for the opposition and will do it with a positive attitude."
Clark and Oscar Thomas are the only two confirmed new faces at Odsal for next season but more recruits are expected before the big kick-off in February.
