Guiseley 1, Goole 3
Guiseley did not add a second trophy for the season at county headquarters Woodlesford tonight as they lost to a lower-ranking club in the final of the West Riding County Cup.
Terry Dolan went into the game with a youthful side and they should have taken the lead in the second minute when Craig Hall was brought down in the area but Danny Ellis smacked the resulting penalty against the bar.
But Hall broke the deadlock in the fourth minute with a left-foot shot but it was downhill from there. Andy Parton netted for the UniBond Division One outfit midway through the first half and Duncan Bray added the second in the 42nd minute. Bray added a second to put the gloss on a Goole victory.
