Steve McNamara reckons the Bulls are good to go after their 84-4 annihilation of the Cougars.
Bradford ran in 15 tries to demolish their National Two opponents today in the final warm-up game before the start of Super League.
McNamara gave all his big stars a last chance to gel at Cougar Park and there were some impressive showings.
Despite the one-sided scoreline, he believes it was a good test for his side, saying: "It was a really worthwhile game.
"We got what we wanted out of it and the players looked very sharp.
"Keighley really deserved credit for that though too.
"They had a proper go at us, kept fighting all the way and really deserved to get those points at the end."
James Hutchinson got a consolation for the part-timers in the last minute but not before Bradford had ripped Cougars to shreds with some ruthless rugby.
McNamara admitted there was no scope to ease up on their hosts.
"We've got a job to do," he said. "Sometimes it looks a bit cruel, like men against boys, full-time against part-time players, but in the big scheme of things, how we've structured our pre-season, this was always going to be our major hit out. We did what we needed to do.
"The players looked keen, sharp and enthusiastic, all the words you want to be using about your team at this stage.
"Regardless of the opposition, I thought we certainly looked very crisp and energetic."
Classy centre Shontayne Hape looked like he had never been away as he marked his comeback from injury with a hat-trick.
McNamara said: "He's got some magic about him.
"Shonny's that type of player. He's one of the best in the competition if not the world when he's on top of his game.
"Hopefully this is a little stepping stone towards an injury-free and really good season for him.
"I thought Sam Burgess went well too. He was everywhere and played just like a young boy out on the park - I suppose he still is!"
