Fire crews tackled a car blaze in Bingley today
A MINI parked in a covered car park in Bingley was destroyed by fire today.
Firefighters from Bingley and Shipley stations were called to the blaze at about 2.10am. It happened in a car park near flats at The Anchorage and The Locks, off Wilson Road.
A spokesman for Bingley fire station said an overhead lighting trunk in the car park was also damaged by the blaze. He added that the lighting collapsed onto two other cars, causing damage to them as well.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No-one was injured.
