Rent is increasing
SIR - The recent increase in private rents in Bradford is horrifying.
Houses that were £600 a month a year ago are now being advertised at £1,200. This is profit grabbing by the landlords, because they can. There is no proper free market or competition in private sector rents. We need rent controls re-introduced to stop this abuse of vulnerable people.
