SIR - Bradford Police Museum re-opens on Friday March 1 and Saturday March 2 (10-4pm) after a winter break. This year the museum celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Events this year include our legendary ghost tours, Trial by Jury Victorian trial re-enactment and city centre walking tours of historic crime locations. Our exhibition Diversity and Policing, a Shared History explores the relationship between the police and minority ethnic communities in Bradford over the last 50 years. Special anniversary events rolled out over summer include new exhibitions about women in policing and Bradford’s hangmen.

Visitors can see the police cells and Victorian courtroom, both used recently for filming Emmerdale, in tours led by our expert guides. The cells were in Peaky Blinders and The ABC Murders. Our historic police vehicle fleet will be at events this summer.

The museum recently appeared on Trip Advisor’s list of top 10 Bradford visitor attractions and in 2023 it was in The Times list of best small museums in the UK. We look forward to welcoming visitors in our 10th anniversary year. Thousands of visitors have been over the last 10 years. We have some super events taking place this year, we look forward to welcoming visitors to one of Bradfords best loved museums. Why not book a private group tour?
