SIR - Two articles in the T&A today (February 28) simply confirm once again what a shambolic Council we have to put up with here in Bradford.
Its top financial officer is "not minded" to declare the authority bankrupt but considers it acceptable to borrow massive amounts to avoid this.
We really seem to be running a third world republic, presided over by a Council leader in Susan Hinchcliffe who should have gone long ago.
We then read that Council tenants have been overcharged by £344,000 and that this will have to be repaid. Where from, one wonders?
Yet another unacceptable and disastrous episode Ms Hinchcliffe. How many more will there be for you to oversee before you do the right thing and resign for the good of our once great city?
