SIR - I am very proud to be a born and bred Bradfordian. I do admit Bradford has its faults and problems.

I was saddened to hear that M&S have decided to leave Bradford. I get the impression Bradford will not be the only place to lose an M&S store.

I do not usually get involved in politics, but my sympathies go out to the people of Shipley. The MP for Shipley does nothing but criticise Bradford Council. He blames them for M&S closing their Bradford store. What rubbish!

Philip Davies would frame better if he tried to back and help Bradford instead kicking it in the teeth every time he contacted the T&A.

He wants Shipley to leave Bradford. To me, Bradford would be far better off if he left Shipley
