The governors of West Yorkshire Police will give a presentation on criminal justice and public confidence in the police force when they visit Keighley this week.
West Yorkshire Police Authority will hold the next meeting of its Local Policing Committee at the Keighley campus of Leeds City College, Bradford Road, on Friday.
Kiran Bali, vice-chairman of the committee, said: “This is our third visit to the Bradford district since we started taking this committee out into communities within West Yorkshire over a year ago, but our first visit to Keighley.
“We picked this particular committee to bring out because it deals with policing topics which affect communities. On the agenda is a presentation on criminal justice and a discussion item on public confidence in policing.
“People who have attended before have told us that they have enjoyed hearing what the force is doing.”
