A Freedom of the City Parade for the 3rd Battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment is due to take place in Bradford tomorrow.
The troops are due to parade the regiment’s new colours through the city from 4pm and be greeted by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Peter Hill in Centenary Square.
At 4.20pm a victory beating by drummers is scheduled before the parade continues.
Coun Hill said: “This will be a fantastic display through the city centre which residents and shoppers can enjoy.
“The parade is a very public way of re-affirming our links with the 3rd Battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment (Duke of Wellington’s).”
