Crowds flocked to today’s annual Norman Rae Gala in Northcliffe Woods, Shipley.
Extended for the first time to cover two fields, the event, run by the Friends of Northcliffe, included live acoustic music, a coconut shy, ferret racing, donkey rides and a children’s activity corner.
Children’s rides were available on a miniature railway track provided by Bradford Model Engineering Society and there were also performances by Bingley Belly Dancers, 400 Roses Dancers and Hall Royd Brass Band.
Elizabeth Baxter, of Shipley, who was at the event with her family, said: “It’s fabulous to see all the different things on offer, it’s been a nice family day out.”
