Bradford has been chosen to host the first national conference for councillors on the Total Place project this week.
Councillors from across the country will be gathering at Bradford University’s Norcroft Centre, tomorrow to discuss how services can be integrated under the pilot scheme which the city is a part of.
Government leadership guru Sir Michael Bichard will give the keynote speech.
Bradford is looking at spending on supporting young people who are leaving care, older people leaving hospital and offenders leaving prison.
Tony Reeves, chief executive of Bradford Council, said: “Total Place looks at how a joined-up approach to public services, funded by Government and local organisations, across a whole geographical area could lead to better, more integrated services at a lower cost.”
