Are you trying to figure out where the best place to live in Bradford is?

A postcode in the city has been revealed as one of the cheapest in Britain when it comes to buying a house, according to new data.

Bradford city centre and the BD1 postcode were the second cheapest, with the area in West Yorkshire having an average house price of £64,960 from January 2023 to January 2024.

With constant inflation rises, the opportunity for first-time buyers to get a mortgage offer that is affordable and reasonable is becoming more difficult.

This is leaving people either not moving out at all or paying to rent a place instead, meaning they have to push their property dreams aside.

Responding to this ongoing change, Online Marketing Surgery and Cardinal Steels have created their House Postcode Report, which ranked postcodes in Britain based on their average house price using data from the HM Land Registry.

Barkerend and the BD3 postcode which is an inner-city area in Bradford also featured in the top 20 list of cheapest places to buy a house with an average house price of £100,923.

Additionally, Bankfoot (BD5) ranked highly with an average house price of £110,330 over the last year.
