A MAN stole 28 boxes of Creme Eggs from a Bradford district supermarket in the run-up to Easter.
Ryan Surtees, of Wrose Brow Road in Shipley, committed the theft at the Lidl on Salts Mill Road on March 8.
The 27-year-old also stole 19 boxes of Cadbury Mini Eggs and a caramel easter egg.
The products came to a total value of £148.80.
Surtees' case was heard at Bradford And Keighley Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, April 9.
He was found guilty in his absence during the hearing.
Surtees must pay a £180 fine, £148.80 in compensation, and court costs of £85.
