A BODY believed to be that of a missing man has been found, West Yorkshire Police has confirmed.
Officers attended Huddersfield Broad Canal in Aspley and a man was recovered from the water.
He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
It is believed the man is Paul Alexander.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesperson for the force said: "At 2.37pm today (Wednesday), police received a call from a member of the public reporting a body in the Huddersfield Broad Canal in Aspley, Huddersfield.
"Officers attended and a male was recovered from the water.
"He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"The male is believed to be missing person Paul Alexander.
"Officers are making further enquiries into the death, which is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
"A file is also being prepared for the Coroner."
