A VEHICLE fire shut two lanes of the M62 tonight.
West Yorkshire Police reported two westbound lanes of the M62 were closed after a vehicle caught fire just beyond Junction 25 at Brighouse.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the West Yorkshire Police Force Command Hub said: "Due to a vehicle fire two lanes are closed on the M62 westbound between J25 and J24."
Traffic alerts reported that "all lanes are open" following an earlier vehicle fire which took place between Junction (Brighouse) and Junction (Ainley Top).
