THESE pictures show views of Bradford Forster Square railway station, dating from the 1950s onwards.

One of them will transport people back to the days when station cafes were more than just takeaway snack bars. The cafe lounge at Bradford Forster Square station, seen here in 1966, was popular with rail travellers and city workers.

In its lifetime the station - which dates from the mid-19th century - has been rebuilt three times. In 1990 it moved location, being rebuilt on the western side of the former station.
