A MALE has been banned from pubs and bars in a Bradford district town after being caught in possession of class A drugs on a night out.
Staff from a Bingley Pubwatch premises, which has not been named, notified officers on patrol to a male who had been asked to leave due to drug use.
Officers used their stop and search powers and found a small amount of cocaine on him.
He admitted it was for personal recreational use.
The male received a conditional caution and has been placed on the Bingley Pubwatch banning list.
The Bingley Pubwatch scheme was relaunched just before Christmas last year.
A number of bans have been issued already this year.
Members of the Bingley Pubwatch are working closely with licencing and police.
Anyone using or threatening violence or anyone found with drugs on their person will be automatically barred, West Yorkshire Police's Shipley NPT warned.
