A video has emerged of police divers in the river where the body of Lancashire mum Nicola Bulley was found.

The video was filmed on April 4 and shows two police divers wading through the River Wyre, close to where Nicola’s phone and dog were found on the day she disappeared (January 27).

Police divers were also reportedly seen floating on their backs in the river.

Lancashire Police have since confirmed that they are “carrying out some work” in the river on the direction of the HM coroner.

The 45-year-old mother of two's body was found on February 19 just after a sharp bend in the river, about half a mile downstream from the village of St Michael's.

Before she disappeared, Nicola had been walking her dog in St Michael’s on Wyre after dropping her daughters, aged six and nine, at school.

Nicola’s funeral took place on March 8 and the inquest into her death is set to take place at 10am on June 26, at County Hall in Preston.

The coroner's investigation will consider how Nicola died.

The investigation will take time to complete to ensure that as complete a picture as possible of the facts concerning Nicola’s death is presented at the inquest. This will assist the family in understanding what occurred.

As part of this process, HM Senior Coroner has asked Lancashire police to produce information gathered during the search for Ms Bulley so it can be considered as part of the investigation.
