FIREFIGHTERS were seen battling a car fire in a Bradford car park this afternoon (Thursday).
A crew from Odsal Fire Station was called at 4.20pm today to a car fire in the Aldi car park on Leeds Old Road in Bradford.
Dramatic video footage showed smoke billowing into the air and firefighters hosing down the burned-out engine compartment of a Mercedes Benz.
A spokesperson for Odsal Fire Station said: "The person was driving when they saw smoke and they pulled into the car park.
"There was no one in the vehicle when we arrived and the Aldi staff did a good job of keeping people back.
"It was just the engine area that was on fire."
