A DRUNK driver who did four laps around a Wibsey roundabout was arrested yesterday.

The driver of the Vauxhall was detained on Fair Road, police reported at 6.45pm, and could “hardly stand up”.

He was breathalysed and found to have a roadside reading of 134mg – well over the legal limit of 35.

The driver was also disqualified and provided false details to police.

“We’re glad we got him off the road before he caused a collision,” West Yorkshire Police said.

“The selfish actions of the male could have had such awful consequences.”

The offender would be charged to court after sobering up, police added.
