FIRE crews are at the scene of a huge crane blaze on the M62 this afternoon.

They were called to the scene, between junctions 25 and 26 on the eastbound carriageway, at around 4pm.

A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the crane is on the hard shoulder.
Firefighters from a number of stations including Cleckheaton, Odsal, Rastrick, Mirfield, Dewsbury and Huddersfield are at the scene.
