Bradford Ballet Dancer’s dreams are coming true as they are set to star in a professional production of Coppélia.
The dancers who are part of the English Youth Ballet’s Coppélia, will be performing alongside international professional dancers.
The production will run from April 22 to April,23 at the St George’s Hall.
Hannah Reid, 18, who The Emma Coombs Dance Academy, said: “I love the feeling of being on stage. Letting an audience into a new world and feeling completely absorbed in performing.
“Dancing with EYB has given me the opportunity to tackle a full ballet. I’m so excited for that feeling of seeing the audience for the first time. That’s one of the main things I’ve missed during the pandemic.
Paige Cline, 9, who is training at the CC Dance Company, said: “My mum got me into ballet & tap when I was 3 years old & never stopped.
“When I’m dancing I feel happy all the time and I can really be myself.
“I’m really enjoying the EYB rehearsals.
“I love music and all types of dancing - it’s my life and I love it!”
