A WOMAN had to be treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at a flat in Kirklees last night.
The blaze broke out at a property on Ledgard Wharf, Mirfield, at around 11.25pm.
Fire crews from Mirfield and Dewsbury attended, and on arrival confirmed that an electric scooter was involved.
Four breathing apparatus and one large jet were used to extinguish the fire, and ambulance crews were also on the scene to treat the woman.
