BRADFORD has been ranked as one of the 10 worst UK cities for vegans, according to a study.
Due to having only 14 per cent of restaurants in the city offering vegan options, Bradford finds itself ranked as the ninth worst cities for vegans.
Despite being one of the cheaper cities for average basket spend, their lack of plant-based options for dine-in and delivery, has pulled it down the rankings.
In the study, from Student Beans, found Bradford has 93 vegan-friendly restaurants, 11 Uber Eats restaurants delivering vegan food and 24 health and supplement shops.
Newry in Northern Ireland was voted as the worst UK city for vegans.
Meanwhile, Edinburgh has been ranked as the best city for vegans in the UK. Plant-based eaters won’t be short of options in this city with 642 vegan restaurants and 42 UberEats options delivering vegan food.
