POLICE have released CCTV still images of a man dressed as a cowboy they want to speak to in relation to an assault.

Officers want to speak to the man about a violent incident in which a man was left with a fractured eye socket that required surgery.

The victim, aged 21, was punched in the face while on a Halloween night out at popular venue The Box in Headingley, Leeds, around midnight on Sunday, October 31.

The suspect was wearing a distinctive cowboy outfit and was a white male with blonde hair. His outfit consisted of an orange t-shirt, brown waistcoat, dark jeans, black and white trainers and a cowboy hat.

Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images, or has any information which could assist police in their investigation, is asked to call 101 quoting crime reference number 13210565701.
