BUS passengers got a late night fright on Friday after a bus went up in smoke at Bradford Interchange.
Crews from Bradford fire station were called to the bus station shortly before 11pm yesterday to tackle the blaze.
Large plumes of smoke could be seen coming from the engine compartment of a single-decker Yorkshire Tiger bus as it was parked in a bay at the Interchange.
Passengers looked on as firefighters dealt with the blaze.
A spokesperson for Bradford fire station said there was a small fire in the engine compartment of the bus, and it was extinguished using a single hose reel.
