FOUR men have been arrested after more than 1,800 plants were found at a cannabis factory in Bradford city centre.

The cannabis plants were found at a property in North Parade after a police warrant was executed by officers yesterday.

Forensic investigators and police officers were at the scene today. They were spotted removing full black bin liners from the site, believed to be underground at the site.

The street value of the cannabis plants has yet to be established.

Four men, aged 23, 32, 42 and 47, were arrested and remained in custody today, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman confirmed.

He continued that a large cannabis factory had been discovered at the property.

The men were arrested following a pursuit on foot by officers. A witness, who did not wish to be named, said: “The police have been there since 2.30pm on Tuesday.

“I saw them carry out about five or six bin liners full.”

The building where the discovery was made in North Parade did not have any signage.
