BASED in Listerhills Science Park, ECSC’s close proximity to the University of Bradford has helped it forge strong ties.
Consultants often give cyber security lectures to students and a number of highly skilled technical staff have been recruited from there.
The company has taken on student placements each year since 2013, developing cyber security students into full time graduate positions. It has also taken part in the UK government apprentice scheme to help a number of young people from the region kickstart a career in cyber security.
Recently staff numbers have doubled to 100.

THE company is a social enterprise which offers a full range of interpreting and translation services.
It has 16 direct employees and 450 interpreters who are self-employed and who speak over 135 different languages. As the service grows, there are plans to expand further and it has just moved into new offices in Sunbridge Road.
Two students from the university have joined as interns and a further 60 self-employed interpreters have been recruited to service South Yorkshire areas.
NAYLOR WINTERSGILL
BRADFORD-based chartered accountants Naylor Wintersgill currently has ten partners and 43 employees.
It understands the importance of a strong future workforce and offers local schools and colleges guidance on routes into the accountancy profession.
Being part of the Bradford community for 100 years, the company uses local recruiters. It recognises the local workforce has a strong skillset which the firm tries to utilise.
It has offered an apprenticeship scheme for 25 years.
