DEFENDER Cliff Moyo has signed a one-year contract extension with FC Halifax Town.
The 24-year-old Zimbabwean signed for The Shaymen last season from Alfreton Town, having moved to England in 2002, and went on to represent England's under-18 schoolboys.
Moyo, who made 26 appearances last season under Billy Heath, said of his extension: "It was a no-brainer with promotion and stuff.
"I didn’t want to leave, so I am very happy to have signed again."
As for his aspirations in the Vanarama National League, he said: “Mainly for me it is about getting games.
"We need to keep our place in the league, and if more comes from that it will be a bonus.
"However, we can’t expect too much after just being promoted. It’s going to be a difficult season.”
