A SECOND man arrested this morning by police investigating the historic murder of schoolgirl Lindsay Rimer has been released pending further inquiries.
The 68-year-old year Bradford man was arrested on suspicion of the 13-year-old schoolgirl's murder.
The arrest followed a renewed police appeal earlier this month for fresh information to unlock the case, which has remained unsolved for more than two decades.
Lindsay was last seen on November 7, 1994 when she went to buy cornflakes from a shop in Hebden Bridge. Her body was found in April 1995 in the Rochdale Canal.
Another Bradford man, aged 63, was arrested in November 2016 on the suspicion of Lindsay's murder and remains on police bail whilst inquiries continue.
