PARAMEDICS were unable to save the life of an elderly woman who was found choking and struggling to breathe at a pub in Keighley last night.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the Roebuck in Skipton Road, Utley, after the alarm was raised at about 5.15pm.
The woman, in her 80s, was treated by paramedics at the scene but she could not be revived and was pronounced dead a short time later.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman today said there were not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file was being prepared for the coroner.
