HGV destroyed in blaze early this morning
A HGV parked up overnight was destroyed in a fire this morning.
The cab of the seven and a half tonne vehicle, parked on Bradford Road in Idle, caught fire at around 1.24am. Fire crews from Idle and Shipley stations were called to the incident.
The crews were able to put the fire out, and stop it from spreading to other vehicles, but the cab was completely destroyed.
Firefighters said the HGV was empty at the time of the fire.
