The car was on fire in Livingstone Road, Wrose
A FIRE crew from Idle was called to Livingstone Road, Wrose, after a Toyota Yaris caught fire.
The car had just been driver from Wakefield and the driver noticed smoke coming from the bonnet. A passing van driver used two powder extinguishers to keep the flames under control until firefighters got there. The callout was made at 5.55pm.
One hose reel and one breathing apparatus was used.
