KEIGHLEY COUGARS have revealed Matty Beharrell from Swinton Lions as their seventh signing for next season.
The exciting young half-back had just one season at Heywood Road in which he helped the Lions avoid relegation back to League One.
Beginning his career with Hull Kingston Rovers, Beharrell spent the majority of his time there on dual-registration with Newcastle Thunder, despite winning the Under-18s Man of Steel with Rovers.
He made a permanent switch to the north-east club for the 2015 season when he was crowned League One's Young Player of the Year.
Standing at just five feet and four inches, Beharrell holds an unusual record after replacing Rob Burrow as the smallest player to feature in Super League.
