POLICE are investigating after the body of a man was found below a block of flats in Bradford today.
The victim was found laid on a footpath beneath the Tudor Court flats, in Swarland Grove, off Manchester Road, shortly before 9am.
Residents reported seeing a police tent and cordon around the scene.
One said it was thought the victim may have fallen from the flats.
A Bradford Police spokesman confirmed they had been called to the scene after the body was found on the footpath.
The spokesman said paramedics attended but the man, believed to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead a short time later.
He said officers were continuing inquiries at the scene to establish the circumstances, but the death was not being treated as suspicious.
