TWO men were arrested following reports of a firearm being discharged in Pudsey last night.
Detectives are investigating the incident, which took place in Wesley Square just after 11pm.
The men, aged 27 and 19, were arrested nearby shortly after the incident, and remain in police custody today.
Enquiries into the incident are said to be ongoing.
There are reports that the B6154, Lowtown, in Pudsey is still closed in both directions from the B6155 Lidget Hill junction to the Manor House Street junction.
This was attributed to accident investigation work following reports of an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, but a police spokesman said there was no record of any collision.
The spokesman said that the road closure was understood to be linked to continuing crime scene investigation work following the Wesley Square incident.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Leeds District CID via 101, quoting log 1892 of the 8/7.
