FIRE crews in Bradford were called out to three separate car fires in the city this morning.
At 1am a crew from Bradford fire station responded to reports of a car on fire on Broughton Avenue in Bierley. When they arrived they found it was a Mercedes CLS 350 parked half on the road and half on the pavement.
After putting out the blaze, which destroyed the high powered car, firefighters spoke to neighbours who said the vehicle did not belong to anyone in the street and may have been abandoned.
At 2am a crew from Odsal fire station was called to Delph Hill, where a Citroen Saxo was on fire. The vehicle was parked outside a house, and although the fire did not spread the car was destroyed.
At around 5am the Bradford station night crew was called to its second car fire of the shift at Newlands Lane in Undercliffe, near Carlton Bolling College.
A Mitsubishi Shogun, parked on the residential road, was destroyed in the fire.
The fire service has reported all three incidents to police.
