POLICE seized a quad bike which had been ridden dangerously in Lidget Green, Bradford.
The Bradford District Anti-Social Behaviour Bike Team was alerted by a concerned member of the public to the dangerous use of quad bikes in the Farnham Road area.
They reported the bikes were a regular problem in the area, they were being used by teenagers and were putting local residents at risk – especially young children playing in the area.
An officer attended and found a red quad with a number plate and a bright green quad both being used at the location and on land near to the Khidmat centre off Spencer Road.
One of the quads made off but the green one, pictured, was abandoned at the scene. It was seized for not being insured and to prevent any further illegal use. Inquiries are ongoing to identify the local male rider.
