CATHY and Heathcliff will burst into song on Saturday as an opera version of Wuthering Heights is performed in Haworth.
Bronte Parsonage Museum worker Charissa Hutchins (pictured) is staging the little-known work in the village’s Old School Rooms.
She and other local singers will present a large extract from the epic adaptation of Emily Bronte’s famous novel.
Charissa, a museum assistant, and her small cast will perform light opera classics during the first half of the 7.30pm presentation.
Half of the proceeds will be donated to the Bronte Society. Tickets cost £7 for adults and £5 for concessions. E-mail charissa_bronte@outlook.com to book tickets.
